Titling In Log Entries
One of the most important elements in Search Engine Optimisation is the page title. My website has dynamic content that is updated twice a month. Now the problem with this is that although I have content that is being updated and Google values dynamic content if the page title isn't descriptive of the actual content, what will having Log Entry: xxth of Xxxxx 20xx without describing what the post contains or what subject it might touch upon. So today I am going to edit all the posts done before as well and rename them to instead of looking like this:
Log Entry: 16th of May 2009
I will rename it to:
Website Creation - Log Entry: 16th of May 2009
The search engines value the Title Tag alot, and they use it to counter in factors. Now the good thing about changing the title to a descriptive content title means that someone might actually find something that they might find useful and they will use a link to refer to my website, which would mean inbound linking. Inbound linking is one of the most crucial factors in ranking high in a search engine due to the Google Page Rank
